The International FAO Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring System (InFARM)

InFARM is a global information system consisting of an IT platform and related FAO activities that assist countries in generating, collecting, collating, analysing, and effectively utilizing their AMR surveillance and monitoring data in animals and food.
The InFARM IT platform offers a secure repository for official national AMR data with restricted access and the option to share data at varying levels of confidentiality. The dashboards in the InFARM IT platform provide interactive visualizations of AMR data in the different user interfaces. These dashboards are produced using AMR data collected annually by national focal points responsible for data collation and submission. The primary objective of the dashboards is to enhance and disseminate evidence on AMR in animals and food.
The goal of InFARM is to assist countries in developing and strengthening operational national surveillance systems that can efficiently contribute to generating reliable and timely AMR evidence in animals and food at national, regional, and global levels.
